While rubber and “jelly” are flexible, they are difficult to keep clean. They pick up dirt, stains, lint and hair. Silicone is very resilient. Non-vibrating silicone toys can be cleaned easily with mild soap & water, or bleached in a 10% solution, even holding up to boiling water or the top shelf of the dishwasher. Always make sure your toy is rinsed well and dried before putting away.

Silicone toys hold heat well and are flexible, making them a fine choice for penetration. If one chooses to swap a toy while playing with your partner, just slip a new condom on.
